Meet Audia Jones

Audia Jones attended the University of Rhode Island on a full four-year NCAA College Basketball Scholarship, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. Afterwards, Audia attended Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law where she earned an academic scholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Prior to attending URI, she spent a year working at a personal injury law firm and interning with a State Judge in Connecticut. Audia believes that her experiences at the firm and Court serving the public and in the area of personal injury prompted her to attend law school. As a woman of color, Audia grew up with a deep appreciation for the inequities and bias faced by her community in employment matters and personal injury matters.

Attorney Jones continued her legal and public service as a Summer Law Clerk in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.  After earning her law degree, she worked as a Counsel Fellow for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee where she quickly advanced from the duties of a Fellow to a Congressional Staffer managing the House Judiciary Committee Portfolio for the Congresswoman.

Following her experiences at the United States House of Representatives, Attorney Jones joined the Harris County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney where she quickly advanced the ranks eventually resigning as a Senior Felony Two Prosecutor.

A Champion for Change

After completing her career as an Assistant District Attorney, Audia competed for Harris County District Attorney where she finished runner up. Following that experience, Audia turned her forcus back to representing individuals who have been harmed by unlawful employment actions and the negligence of others. While working in the misdemeanor and felony trial bureau it became clear that the criminal justice system was sorely broken and was not working for the benefit of our largest and most vulnerable communities. Attorney Jones noticed many of the same issues plagued the civil system.

Audia is fueled with determination that all citizens should have equal rights and opportunities within their employment and personal injury rights. As a vehicle for change she is dedicated to seeking the best results for her clients.

Audia Jones is married to her best friend and has two beautiful children.
